Day 1: Arrive Christchurch
On arrival at Christchurch airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your city hotel (self drive passengers collect your rental car on arrival). Known as the Garden City", Christchurch is the South Island's largest city. It's a vibrant, cosmopolitan place with exciting festivals, theatre, modern art galleries, great shopping and award-winning attractions.

Day 2: Christchurch (B)
Your tour today explores some of North Canterbury's boutique vineyards, Waipara Springs, Mark Rattray, Canterbury House and Pegasus Bay, all producing a fine selection of both white and red wines. Mark Rattray, Pegasus Bay and Waipara Springs are all located in the Waipara area, well known for its warm dry climate and limestone rich soils, both ideal for quality wine production. Should any of the above named wineries be unavailable on the day of the tour, an alternative winery in the Waipara area will be included.

Day 3: Christchurch - Marlborough (B)
Depart Christchurch today and travel to the Marlborough region. The main town, Blenheim is the hub of the famous Marlborough wine district. Naturally the town features several fine restaurants focused on wine and food of the region. It also has a stylish public art gallery, a museum and colonial village, glorious public and private gardens to visit, theatres and cinemas and shops to explore.

Day 4: Marlborough (B)
Today explore the famous Sauvignon Blanc vineyards of Cloudy Bay, Grove Mill (featuring the country's only 'vine library'), Seresin Estate and Hunter's - an institution in Marlborough! We suggest that you enjoy lunch (own expense) at Allan Scott, which offers a range of Marlborough's most famous wine styles, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Noir and Methode sparkling wine. The winery restaurant is one of the region's best.

Day 5: Marlborough - Nelson (B)
Depart Blenheim today and travel to the nearby city of Nelson. The Nelson area is renowned for it's wines, orchards, great beaches, sunny climate, arts and crafts and sumptuous seafood!!

Day 6: Nelson (B)
Today enjoy a relaxing and fun filled Wine Tour and taste the wines that make the region famous. The vineyard areas are constantly expanding with large tracts of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling, along with smaller plantings of Gewurztraminer and Pinot Gris varietals. Let us take you directly to the winemakers themselves, and share in their passion.

Day 7: Depart Nelson (B)
