Day 1: Arrive Auckland
On arrival at Auckland airport, you will be met by our
representative and transferred to your city hotel (self drive passengers
collect your rental car at the airport on arrival). Known as the
'City of Sails', Auckland is New Zealand's largest and most vibrant
city offering an array of cosmopolitan experiences. Enfolded by
two huge harbours, Auckland is an environment that's alive with
cultural excitement and sea-flavoured challenges.
Day
2: Auckland - Golf at Gulf Harbour (B)
This morning travel to the Whangaparoa Peninsula to enjoy a round
of Golf at the fabulous Gulf Harbour (venue for the 1998 World Cup
of Golf. This 6,400 metre, par 72 golf course is located at Gulf
Harbour on the Whangaparaoa Peninsula, just north of Auckland. This
course meanders through native grasses and vegetation and has a
natural look and feel from start to finish. Four sets of tees assure
playability for every calibre of golfer, from beginners to professionals.

Day
3: Auckland - Taupo (B)
This morning farewell Auckland as you travel south along the Southern
Motorway to reach the market garden area of Pukekohe. Continue through
Hamilton - New Zealand's fourth largest city and the fertile Waikato
region before arriving at the popular lakeside resort of Taupo,
home to New Zealand's largest lake and the spectacular Huka Falls.

4: Taupo - Golf at Wairakei International (B)
Today enjoy a round of golf on the magnificent parkland course at
Wairakei International. Officially opened in 1970, the course lies
on 450 acres of natural rolling countryside and was developed to
meet the rigorous design standards required for world class championship
competition. This course with the 6429 metres from the championship
tees and 108 well placed bunkers has lead to world wide acclaim.

Day
5: Taupo - Napier (B)
This morning depart Taupo and travel south over rugged mountain
ranges, through gentle plains and well cultivated farmland to arrive
in the fertile Hawke’s Bay region and the “art deco” city of Napier.

6: Napier - Golf at Cape Kidnappers (B)
Today enjoy a round of golf at New Zealand’s newest course, Cape
Kidnappers. Designed by the acclaimed golf architect Tom Doak, the
site of the Cape Kidnappers golf course is stunning. Located on
what is a five thousand acre sheep station running to the edge of
cliffs before plummeting five hundred feet down to Hawke Bay, every
hole has a view of the ocean, and two of them (the par three sixth
and the par five fifteenth) will afford the chance to "pull
your ball off the edge of the earth". The 440-yard twelfth
hole has its green at the end of a narrow ridge at the brink of
the cliffs. Cart hire is included.
Day
7: Depart Napier (B)
Sadly, your holiday is at an end and you travel onto Auckland or
Napier Airport today for your onward flight. Here, we bid you a
fond farewell to your homeland and hope you leave with many happy
memories of your stay in Aotearoa, New Zealand.
