Day 1: Arrive Auckland
On arrival at Auckland airport, you will be met by our
representative and transferred to your city hotel (self drive passengers
collect your rental car at the airport on arrival). Known as the
'City of Sails', Auckland is New Zealand's largest and most vibrant
city offering an array of cosmopolitan experiences. Enfolded by
two huge harbours, Auckland is an environment that's alive with
cultural excitement and sea-flavoured challenges.
Day
2: Auckland - Golf at Gulf Harbour (B)
This morning travel to the Whangaparoa Peninsula to enjoy a round
of Golf at the fabulous Gulf Harbour (venue for the 1998 World Cup
of Golf. This 6,400 metre, par 72 golf course is located at Gulf
Harbour on the Whangaparaoa Peninsula, just north of Auckland. This
course meanders through native grasses and vegetation and has a
natural look and feel from start to finish. Four sets of tees assure
playability for every calibre of golfer, from beginners to professionals.

Day
3: Auckland - Waitomo Caves - Rotorua (B)
This morning depart Auckland and travel south through the fertile
Waikato region to arrive at Waitomo. Enjoy a guided tour of the
world famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves including an underground boat
ride viewing the millions of glowworms on the cavern roof. After
this memorable experience, continue over the forested Mamaku Ranges
to reach the 'Thermal City' of Rotorua.

4: Taupo Day Trip - Golf at Wairakei International (B)
This morning travel the short distance (approximately 1 hours drive)
to the Wairakei International course on the outskirts of Taupo and
enjoy a round of golf on this magnificent parkland course. Officially
opened in 1970, the course lies on 450 acres of natural rolling
countryside and was developed to meet the rigorous design standards
required for world class championship competition. This course with
the 6429 metres from the championship tees and 108 well placed bunkers
has lead to world wide acclaim. Cart Hire is included. On completion,
return to Rotorua and enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure.
Day
5: Rotorua - Queenstown (B)
This morning travel onto Rotorua airport for your flight to Queenstown.
On arrival you travel onto your accommodation. Queenstown is the
Southern Hemisphere's premiere four season alpine and lake resort.
Nestled on the shores of Lake Wakatipu and overlooked by the majestic
Remarkables Range, Queenstown is the perfect destination all year
round.

6: Queenstown - Golf at Millbrook Resort (B)
This morning enjoy a round of golf on the Course at Millbrook. This
spectacular par 72 championship golf course was designed by New
Zealand's renowned master golfer, Sir Bob Charles. Set amidst a
spectacular alpine amphitheatre, strategic use of water and sand
traps ensure exciting and demanding golf. Cart Hire is included.
After you round, you may wish to pamper yourself in the luxury spa
facilities that the Resort has to offer or alternatively, spend
the rest of the day relaxing or shopping.
Day
7: Queenstown (B)
Today is at leisure to explore the endless optional attractions
available. Queenstown offers picturesque golf courses, jet boating,
gondola rides, lake excursions and much more. Perhaps a day trip
to the spectacular Milford Sound or another round of golf, you might
like to try the Queenstown Golf Club which offers spectacular views
of Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding Remarkables Mountain range.

8: Queenstown - Christchurch (B)
This morning depart Queenstown and travel through the historic Central
Otago region before arriving at the small town of Twizel. Continue
north to arrive at Lake Tekapo before crossing the fertile Canterbury
plains to arrive in the Garden City of Christchurch.

9: Christchurch - Golf at Clearwater Resort (B)
Today enjoy a round of golf at Clearwater Resort. This par 72 championship
layout is already turning heads in the golfing world. Designed by
John Darby in consultation with New Zealand golfing legend, Sir
Bob Charles, the course combines elements of links golf inspired
by the great Scottish courses with parkland golf, more reminiscent
of Florida. Clearwater is aptly named. Its fifteen hectares of lakes
are fed by an abundance of natural springs and crystal clear streams,
teeming with trout. Water comes into play on fourteen holes and
if the lakes don't catch errant balls, then the acres of tussocks
and marram grasses will. Clearwater has been awarded the highest
rating of any course in the country by the New Zealand Golf Association.

Day
10: Depart Christchurch (B)
Sadly, your holiday is at an end as you travel to the airport today
for your onward flight. Here, we bid you a fond farewell to your
homeland and hope you leave with many happy memories of your stay
in Aotearoa, New Zealand.
